OK We just got back from North Conway N.H. WOW! It was great weather, good food and MiKay had a blast. She was so good! Poor thing, Matt and I tuckered her out. Our room was small we did lots of driving, walking and eating. We even got to do a little hiking. Mikaela went on every ride except 4 that had a height requirement. Mommy had restrictions too. We even stopped to climb the Sterling Cascade which you see above. Yes, Pregnant mommy and MiKay climbed this with Daddy. It was great. Sad to be back but it was just enough for myself and MiKay. We might even go back next year but we'll have a better idea on where to go and what to do. FYI for you New Englanders. Clark's trading Post not for Toddlers. It's something to said you saw but not realy worth the drive IMO. The Bear Show was cool but that was it. Enjoy the pics and be sure to check out the baby blog later this week.

she roasted her first marshmallow

Mikaela got to roast her first marshmallow. She thought it was great to roast them on her own. She did very well distancing herself from the fire too. She didn't like to est them but loved giving everyone a marshmallow to put on their stick and helping them hold them over the fire.
P.S. She also got stung by a wasp this week and we are happy to say not allergic. ( bee or wasp stings.) That was the last allergy concern we had left for her. My dad was allergic so you never know. She handled it very well no complaints unless you touched her arm. Now when she sees a bee or hornet she says eewwww sting eee ow ee ow. SO cute!

Strawberry Picking for MiKay

Mikaela and I went strawberry picking. It was a MOMS Club outing but we missed it due to swimming lessons. So MiKay and I went later that morning. She spent the entire time running after other little kids but once she figured out she could eat the berries she picked she got the hang of it. We were both a mess by the time we finished. To our surprise there were other moms there dress in their good clothes what were they thinking. All they did was complain on the hay ride back that their feet hurt from their high heeled sandals and they were strawberry stained. MiKay and I looked like we fell off he hay truck but we had a blast diggin the dirt looking for red berries.
She did AWESOME looking for only the red red berries. As you can see from out bucket we got 5.5 lbs of strawberries @ $1.99 a pound . Yes people, a pound!! Some place are $5.49 per quart.
Grandpa John you need to come down to go strawberry picking with us before the season is over. They are the cheaping strawberry picking farm around and the strawberries taste awesome!
Mudroom project in progress

Check it out Matty is on a role.. I am helping a little, what little I can do. Matty finally tiled the floor. I was going to do it until we read that there was lye in the cement or grout. I did end up helping with the grouting process. I did wear gloves. Wow what a job! It was harder because we bought textured porcelain tiles and the grout was in the groves pretty good. Matty did a wonderful job meticulously laying the tiles. It looks great now that the room is primes and tiled. Check out the stairs and the tile job

Just a few New Pics!

Just some new pics nothing really new. MiKay does say a few more new things though and Loves to draw.( still working on not eating Crayons chalk and playdough) She calls for the cats "ARE YOU!" meaning where are you? and "ow!" meaning Meow. It's so cute. She asks for help all the time and says thank you when you help her at the right time too. She asks for drinks and specifies too. Sleeping is back to normal; Mommy doesn't need to stay in the room anymore knock on wood. We still have to get through the 2 year molars. She is a little spitfire one minute happy lovable going n the potty next telling me to go away shutting me out of her room and screaming because she didn't get her way. her cousin Emilis I hear isn't to far behing in that department. Well their fathers are brothers LOL.
