Still waiting for Miss Molly & Turkey Day pics

We are still waiting upon Miss Molly. Nothing yet but bouts of pressure. The girl's rooms are complete minus their names on the wall. I am still holding out to find the right style letters for each girls room. All the baby laundry is done and put away. Christmas decorations are about completed in the house. My bags are packed, Ipods, and camera's are charged. I do have to get a bag ready for Mikaela to stay over night at my best friend's Erinn's but if I don't get to it Erinn knows what to do. That's why I love her. She is the BEST!!!
Well that's about it. We had our first Thanksgiving alone at home and it was nice. Mikaela actually ate turkey and had some pudding pie. We ran errands and did groceries in prep for the week so I can just hang at home.

Check back soon for updates

Mikaela is getting a big girl room

Well instead of Miss Molly getting a whole new room Mikaela is getting a room makeover. We decided to pass on the vintage furniture to the baby's room and got MiKay new furniture to help her with the transition of not being the baby in the family anymore. MiKay will get her stripes changes to multi colors to match her fairy sheets. Along with a whole new window treatment. We will extend her toddler bed to a full length twin get her new bedding to go with her fairy sheets and brand new white bureaus. I cannot wait until it is done. Mikay and I once a week work on her stripes. I am having her help me paint them to take ownership of the change. Every time we finish a set of stripes she tells me she "Likes it" she has the cutest little voice.

Update on MiKay: she is starting to sing songs on her own alot more. A,B,C's, twinkle twinkle, certain songs on the radio, She likes to pretend she is Diego and runs around saying "Animal in trouble c'mon mommy animal in trouble". She grabs my hand and drags me to the play room or outside to save what ever animal is in trouble. So cute! What an imagination! She likes to make mommy and daddy sleep and then wakes us to give us breakfast( a pancake and Juice)

She is very active and very chatty. Oh yes and very much a 2 year old girl!!!

STORY LAND!!!!!

OK We just got back from North Conway N.H. WOW! It was great weather, good food and MiKay had a blast. She was so good! Poor thing, Matt and I tuckered her out. Our room was small we did lots of driving, walking and eating. We even got to do a little hiking. Mikaela went on every ride except 4 that had a height requirement. Mommy had restrictions too. We even stopped to climb the Sterling Cascade which you see above. Yes, Pregnant mommy and MiKay climbed this with Daddy. It was great. Sad to be back but it was just enough for myself and MiKay. We might even go back next year but we'll have a better idea on where to go and what to do. FYI for you New Englanders. Clark's trading Post not for Toddlers. It's something to said you saw but not realy worth the drive IMO. The Bear Show was cool but that was it. Enjoy the pics and be sure to check out the baby blog later this week.

she roasted her first marshmallow

Mikaela got to roast her first marshmallow. She thought it was great to roast them on her own. She did very well distancing herself from the fire too. She didn't like to est them but loved giving everyone a marshmallow to put on their stick and helping them hold them over the fire.

P.S. She also got stung by a wasp this week and we are happy to say not allergic. ( bee or wasp stings.) That was the last allergy concern we had left for her. My dad was allergic so you never know. She handled it very well no complaints unless you touched her arm. Now when she sees a bee or hornet she says eewwww sting eee ow ee ow. SO cute!
