Mikaela Annette is 3years old!!!

Mikaela is now 3 years old. She had a big purple dinosaur party. It was awesome. We had a bunch of her little friends and a big purple dino bounce house. Mommy and Daddy even had a blast jumping too. I do have to say I feel like someone flipped the switch on Mikaela because it was like she grew 2 inches and an attitude over night.

Mikaela has not gained any weight from 2.5 yrs. She weight 27lbs and definitely grew over night from 35 .5 inches to 37.5 inches Amazing how she was wearing 2T jeans and in 2 weeks they were high waters on her.

Mikaela is growing leaps and bounds in all areas. she makes up songs. constantly pretending to be some animal at least four or five times a day.

" Mommy what am I?" " Um a rino" " no that's Silly, I'm a armadillo" or better yet lately it has been a turtle a triceratops a gecko or a hella monster. I LOVE IT!!!.

Today we played dinos we pretending to be them and played with toy dinos. Well she pretended to be a dead dino and I had to eat her; or we had to make our dinos fight and I had to fight and eat her.

Las night while I was feeding Molly and daddy was cleaning up Mikaela was flipping throuhg the One Step Ahead catalog. She was pointing out and asking for stuff even the dogs that were used as models in the pictures. Oh boy!!! She is shopping for stuff. better yet she asked us for a dog.

No we are not getting a dog anytime soon but someday I guess. Matt said it has to be over 30lbs he wants a really dog I want a dog with hair and nor fur.. So I suggested a Great Dane and we could name his scooby. Mikaela could ride him like a pony.

Mikaela is definitely getting smarter and more kaniving. She blames everything on the cat and Daddy. She says nothing when you ask her what she is doing and if she knows that she didn't ask or shouldn't even be doing it.

Tonight she turned the TV on with out asking and when she played with the buttons she got a channel of snow. Because she had played with the volumes buttons it was super loud. She was shhing the TV as if I couldn't hear what she was doing. She was panicking telling the Tv and pushing buttons as if to quiet it down and not get caught. So once she noticed I was looking at her form the kitchen she backed away and screamed oh no mommy the TV is exploding I didn't do it. I love her spirit, but oh boy!!! My trouble maker and I love her for it.

P.S. This was the first birthday party where Mikaela opened her gifts up with out help and blow out her candles on her own too. sniff sniff. She is officially a little girl now

Molly is 8 Months

Molly is now 8 months old and had 6 teeth. in a matter of mere 4 days Molly cut 4 new teeth. Poor thing!! She was a trooper though. She did have a few nights of crying in the middle of the night but they were short lived and she went right back to sleep However, this cause a new disturbance in our happy nursing relationship;She bites! I still plan on nursing her right until 1 yr old but her lunch time feeing and supper time feedings are now replaces with formula. I am ok with this because I found a formula that is for 9 -24mos and I think that I will be continuing it through to 24mos.

Molly is still just Molly Dolly. She hasn't made any realy big changes. She shakes a toy like crazy if it is put in her hand. She does knock toys off her high chair tray. Makes much more noise. Can let you know what she wants to play with and get excited to eat when she sees a bowl and spoon and or her bottle.

She is a big hair puller. Poor Mikaela has had to peal her sister out of her hair on her own a few times and it is funny to hear.

Molly loves to watch her mobile spin and she knows how to tell you turn it on and loves the ocean. She also know how to tell you take me to the water.

She knows what it mean when you say give kisses because she will open her mouth to yours and either lick you to death or sing in your open mouth. She loves to talk into my open mouth like a little bird. I swear she is going to be a singer.
