Don't leave her alone for a Second!!!!!

Ok, I turned around for a second and this is what I found. I didn't even leave the playroom, I was getting out a new toy. OH MY GOODNESSS!!!!!! What a Monkey!!! I love her sense of adventure and no fear attitude. I do have to say she keeps me on my toes. She is my /our monkey. I hope she can focus this energy into something creative someday. I just hope not skydiving or rock climbing..... maybe indoor rock climbing, even I have tried that .......

P.S. This isn't the highest she has gotten. I just happened to have the camera near and it was wicked cute. Plus our window sills are not that high. Yes, she has been higher like Daddy's desk, the kitchen table, the dining room table...tried the kitchen counter but Mommy is to fast for that trick

BIG GIRL BED!!!

It only took two weeks and the fact we switched her over during a growth spurt and teething.. Dumb Mommy. Yeah I think I had a breif moment of the pregnancy stupids...( not pregnant but my brain has been like it) I should have waited until the growth spurt was over. OH WELL . Mikaela has transitioned very well into her big girl bed. She was so excited from the get go. A little too excited that the first three nights she was up and down all night... Well just the first hour. However naps seemed to be a thing of the past for about a week. That was the hard part not bedtime. No naps for a week was exhausting especially when we tried to nap and be consistent with putting her back in bed. I spent an hour everyday outting her back in bed for her nap. I didn't leave the house expect for our regularly scheduled activities. Well it all paid off. Bed time is a breeze now and nap times happen. I just wait a little longer before putting her down for a nap because if she isn't rubbing her eyes and yawning there is no way she'll stay put. she actually asked me to shut her fish light tank off. The cutest thing she does now is she has to say her prayers with me and likes to do the sign of the cross in french too. She also asks me to sing two songs and rub her head while singing. Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Rock-a-Bye Baby. Once I do that I am ok to leave. She has her little mobi tyke lite and lays there drifiting off to sleep. Maybe up once or twice just to check if we are actually coming back to check on her like we say we'll do. So cute !!! sniff sniff She is so big. You should she her read in her bed in the afternoons.
